I've been a Vista optimist all through it's development but really, it's all version 1.0 components which don't have reliability testing yet. UAP is good (annoying) but what's the extent to which it can stop something? What if someone can circumvent UAP all together?
I don't get you. You were really positive on Vista when it was first coming around
Sure, when it was in the early longhorn development. I'm more sad of the missed opportunities than what they currently have. RC1 is rock solid stability wise, but looking back at Longhorn alphas it's just issed promises and cut features.
It's what I've been feeling about Vista for a while. The revolutionary OS became just XPs sucessor.
