Joe The Lifeguard, employed by Wilderness Territory of Wisconsin Dells, is a great person. Agree?
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

Have you had training? I know out in Arizona I needed 6 hours of training (3 2-hour courses) to become a "lifeguard." I'm not sure I'd trust you to save my life...

Do you get paid?

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

I hated lifeguard training because I was always partnered with this fat chick, and it was a total bitch trying to get her up on the rescue tube.
errr... something like that...

What the hell... to become a "lifeguard" here, you need a LOT more then 6 hours of training.  :-\

You need to complete the "Bronze" program, which is first "Bronze Medallion" and then "Bronze Cross" after completing Medallion.  To complete Medallion, you need to attend ten lessons that are 3 and a half hours long then an exam, then you do Cross which covers the same amount of time and same idea.  After which you complete the NLS (National Lifeguarding Society) which is another 10 classes program with 5 hours each class.  After you pass the exam for that, you can be a lifeguard.  It's a long boring hard training process.

Anyways, more details, Joe!
And like a fool I believed myself, and thought I was somebody else...

Some lifeguard. That's like that bullshit "football team manager" position where you were essentially the waterboy.

He got an easy job in a much better environment than most fast food places, and seems to pay above minimum wage.  Would it meet everyone's approval if he got a more shitty job that paid less?  Wtf?

Someone who has a brain. Woot!

I think it's the fact that he said he's a lifeguard when he is, in fact, a slide attendant. :-\

My job title is a life guard. I tend to slides.

Your other title is football equipment manager.... it's called making the job seem more important/higher up than it is.

Whatever.

And your job title is "waiter" / "dish washer" and "internet clan leader", so I couldn't be talking.

Actually, they're "figurehead" and the former was "busboy" so nice try. :)

Although nice work bashing the leaders. I'm sure they appreciate it.

It's a great side job, sure. I even ran for that office, remember? But I know you would have brought it up as a position of leadership and reverence if I hadn't, so I did. And yeah, busboy really glorifies you as well.

Honestly, are you finished? This is kind of annoying. I make a post to tell you about a job where I can practically sleep and still actively do my work and then you bash me for it.

I wasn't glorifying my job. Infact, you bashed my job long before I did it. I just gave it its proper title. :)

I don't considering being a figurehead my job. That would imply I spend hours uninterrupted doing my duties... and I don't.

I'm more a student, thank you.

Haha. It's kind of annoying you honestly think the position of "slide attendant" deserves the title "lifeguard" considering you save nobody. But ok. Congrats for making money for doing shit work. I am sure that'll get you far in life with your GPA... oh wait.
