Windows Vista released to manufacturers
« on: November 10, 2006, 02:28:59 am »
http://reviews.cnet.com/Windows_Vista_RTM/4505-3672_7-32137426.html

"On Wednesday, November 8, 2006, Microsoft released its new operating system, Windows Vista, to hardware manufacturers, marking the end of the development phase and the beginning of the distribution phase. For more than a year, we have seen various builds, most of them private but some public, with ever-increasing build numbers. The final number is build 6000 (with a string of lesser numbers following)."

Yay, that means that within a week I'll have my copy of Vista from MSDN Subscriber Downloads.  :D
I have a programming folder, and I have nothing of value there

Running with Code has a new home!

Our species really annoys me.

So you did decide to fork up the money for another yearly subscription, eh?  What'd you pay?

Yeah, I decided to.  Figure I could take it as a tax write-off along with my new lappy.

$2500.

I felt I was incapable of expressing my reaction with text emoticons, so I took it to the next level:

That means I could probably call and have the final Vista ISO burnt and overnighted to me if I really wanted! :D

I think I'll acquire another gig of RAM before I do that, though. Possibly a new graphics card!

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

You can use one key for like 10 people, share with your ten bestest friends from x86.
One must ask oneself: "do I will trolling to become a universal law?" And then when one realizes "yes, I do will it to be such," one feels completely justified.

As long as you're getting one for Warrior, Rabit, and Ergot...  :-*

I've tried messing around with it on VMWare and its just too slow to use it for anything.

You'll have to allocate it 512MB of ram and possible turn Aero Basic or Classic Mode on.
