We need a prank!
« on: December 14, 2006, 10:52:45 am »
We just found out that it's our boss's birthday today.  So we need a prank!

While I was typing that, a decision was made: we're going to set up a workstation for him in the bathroom.  Including a desk, phone, coffee mug, pictures of his kids, a working computer (with network), etc.

I'll let y'all know how it goes, with pictures, after. :)

ROFL. Good luck, have fun, don't die, don't get fired.
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

two words: nitric acid.  He'll probably cry like a baby, but I think deep down he'll appreciate the humor in it.

Man, I wish I had a boss who I could pull pranks on like that.  (not really, I don't even have a job!)

I can't get fired, I already put in my notice that I'm quitting.

But I'm sure I wouldn't anyway, he has a great sense of humour :)

That's good.  My old boss was a creep..
The once grove of splendor,
Aforetime crowned by lilac and lily,
Lay now forevermore slender;
And all winds that liven
Silhouette a lone existence;
A leafless oak grasping at eternity.

Unless you're relocating his current workstation, I don't see how it's really a prank..

That was the original plan.  But we ended up stealing his stuff.

I got 2, they're on OSPAP (www.javaop.com/~ron/ospap).  But I took a couple more, I'm just waiting for him to copy them to his computer.  Then I'll post 'em all at once. :)

Get your dad out here. My network consists of a hole in the floor with a cable running through it into the utility room, and that cable running through a hole in my wall into a switch, then split to my box and my laptop.
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

We would have, but it wouldn't have fit.  And I think having an actual chair in there looked funny, anyways.

Because there may be some delay getting the pictures (my co-worker with the camera is lazy :P), here's the ones I have now:

I wish my house was better CAT5 wired. I could probably not use wireless!

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

When I get a job, I want my boss to be able to handle humor like that :D
