Actually, there's a lot of things I wish forums DIDN'T have. SMF does stuff pretty well. I don't like polls all that much, and those stupid scripts that underline shit get annoying as hell. The calendar is entirely useless, and there could be fewer profile options.

Post modification history. Basically, when somebody edit's/deletes a post, have the ability to go back and see what they changed, and maybe restore a previous revision. Useful in some cases.
