You could testiy that a friend was using that account and that he didnt want to play anymore and simply just sent you his shit?

Sharing accounts is also against the TOS.
That is just what I was going to say :P. You beat me to it by 2 seconds!

It all violates the ToS, you're making money off of Blizzard's "intellectual" property.

He knows, but he thinks its cool to sell gold. ;P

Just curious, Blaze, did you make the gold with a glider?  I often considered it after making 800g in a few weeks with almost no effort, but decided against it because of the risk involved.

It is pretty cool -- the idea of making lots of money off video games.

You could probably make a lot more now off expansion mobs.  I've considered starting a WoW bot farm a couple times..

Yeah, you could make pretty good money doing it, I think.

Dude, we totally should this summer.

Edit -- Just in case you didn't read my posts regarding my "resignation," there's just no way I can do it right now.  As fun as it sounds, I have quite a bit of school work on my plate and I don't want something as attention-whoring as WoW keeping me from homework and such.

For the record, using WoW Glider in Outland is almost an instant ban. GM's are running around dressed "incognito" banning bots on sight.
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

And just FYI Glider may not be here much longer.  Blizzard filed a lawsuit against Mercury ( the creator ) and if they win they will be getting the source code, all the profits he made, his site and more.

Ugh.. on what grounds are they suing him for?

Probably the same way that pindle bots were against the TOS.

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

That isn't valid reasoning for lawsuit.

Ah. I missed that. Making $ off of intellectual property and probably some other TOS violations? :|

I don't think they can use the TOS argument in court.  Making money of intellectual property makes sense, but I'm not sure it'd fly in court.  I'd definitely like to keep track of it if it ends up going through, though.  It seems like an interesting case.
