Does anybody play this at their college? Hampden-Sydney has it and it sounds so sweet.

Sad when I saw this I thought "Did they nerf rogue ass spec" :/
One must ask oneself: "do I will trolling to become a universal law?" And then when one realizes "yes, I do will it to be such," one feels completely justified.

I thought someone got assassinated. :P
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

It sounds entertaining.  However, I think I'd rather settle for Halo LAN parties. :)

I think that the idea of a long-term game is both the more alluring and most repelling aspect of this game. On one hand, it's really cool, but on the other I'd rather not be on my guard all the time.

Wasn't there a CSI episode about something like this?

In Portland, Oregon they play this game. It's pretty cool. They get the Name, address, place of work, phone number and email. The safe zones are in work, and in your house. You're assigned one person to assassinate, and then when you do you get that persons target. It's pretty neet. It's like $10 per season, and they play it maybe 3, or 4 times a year. The winner gets like $200, or a gift or something. It's pretty fun! It's called "PDX Assassin" here. (PDX is the Portland airport code.)

Haha that too. Even without the game I always take the seat facing the door in restaurants and such. :)

I played this in high school using colored clothespins.  It was fun as hell.

Makes me think a little of the movie The Game.

The sniper rifle nerf gun has an effective range of maybe 10 meters. I recommend the pistol, it fires faster and has the same effective range. Plus, I find it easier to aim (though that might just be because I used it more).

And I don't know about camo, unless you're expecting them to be wandering through wilderness. But camo doesn't work in urban/suburban areas very well. May I suggest a fake beard and an overcoat? :)

Hampden-Sydney is a really rural campus, and on like over 1,000 acres.

It still seems like a trench coat and disguise (assuming they know what you look like) would be more effective. Walk up to them, lift your sunglasses (thanks, draky), say something cool, and whoop their white ass. Or black or whatever. Yup.

But 1000 acres? I sure hope you don't have to walk end-to-end in the 15-minute block between classes. I know that doing that on a small campus is tough enough :)

actually it's a really small school (under 1,100 students...which is about half of my high school) so the actual class buildings/library/student centers aren't far from each other. The upperclass dorms are kind of a hike though, but I'll have my car in case it's raining or whatever.

I think most of the 1,000 acres consists of lakes and forests and stuff, I also know they bought about 400 acres extra recently on the original college site from 1776 about 3 miles down the road.

Additionally I think I'd stand out more if I had a trenchcoat on haha.

God damn that's a lot of land. The school I want to go to is on about 1500 acres, but has ~20 the students.
