Bind what keys on the keyboard to what? I'm assuming you mean the media keys, etc.If they don't already work, chances are you're fucked.

god damn i can use the media, mail,and web/home key. but i cant get "my documents, pictures, messenger and music" to work. is there any way possible to bind these or do something...O and the f Lock is there any way to keep it on without pushing it every time?
What I liked about Linux is that customizing those keys was a sinch.

Not if the keys don't work at all...
Does that ever happen? I thought that the keypresses were registered as something, regardless of which keyboard it was, because in the end it's just an odd keystroke.

If they are physically busted nothing you can do, OS-independent.
Maybe I missed something.. why was a converter needed? Doesn't every non-server/non-laptop computer have a PS/2 port?
