Talent show!

I'll be performingdestroying this, based on Pulling Teeth.

You can tell which parts I wrote because they suck, but it sounds pretty cool actually.

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

Yeah, but it turns out I didn't play them. I was sort of in a nervous rush and ended up wammying the A-12 in the first measure of the third to last bar really hard and then just skipping to the G-1.

I forgot to say that the judges were role-playing American Idol (this was a church lock-in, actually). Here's their opinions --

Randy: [The guy who played him was a bassist] As a fellow bassist I can personally say that it takes a lot of talent to perform a solo like that after only a week of playing, but you did have a few timing issues and missed notes, and you're a bit out of tune. However, for a week, that's pretty good.
Paula: I agree with Randy. That was pretty cool.
Simon: Have you ever had the misfortune of being in your car and waiting for a turtle to cross the road, wishing with each second that someone would come kill it? [At this point, I strummed a G/D/A/E-0, but they'd already turned my bass off in the back, oh well].

Everyone thought it was pretty cool. There was one other bassist there who I'm friends with, and she said that I was actually better than her, on account that she can't solo (she actually plays for her church band, so eh?).

And for those who missed it (did I even say it at all?), I now play bass in my youth group's worship band. Basically, both the guitarist and I are playing piano chords along with the leader, but eventually I want to move to bass tabs and perhaps over the summer do a few chorus solos (see "Heavy Drum Bridge" for an example of our past drummer).

EDIT -
Newby, just for clarification, I also wrote the third to last bar as well, and it actually sounds kinda cool. It was sort of inspired by a little something he did in this video (he actually ends up picking his bass up a bit when he does it, pretty cool) but I tabbed it myself. :)
