Donnie Darko (2001)
« on: April 27, 2007, 01:53:43 pm »
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donnie_Darko

Just watched this for the frist time last night. Have pretty much one interweb phrase to sum this up. "WTF?"

I was asking myself throughout the whole movie "WTF?" and you would think at the ending things would all come together, but nope. I have more questions then I did at the beginning. Great fucking movie. Head trips!

Donnie Darko is an excellent movie.  On average, it's one that people either hate or love.  My good friend in high school thought it was a stupid movie after I convinced him to watch it; I thought it was fantastic.

There are like 10 threads for this movie. :)

I love this movie though.  It's so good.
The once grove of splendor,
Aforetime crowned by lilac and lily,
Lay now forevermore slender;
And all winds that liven
Silhouette a lone existence;
A leafless oak grasping at eternity.

I don't think it's been posted in Media Center before, but I have little doubt it's been discussed or referenced here. ;)

I watched this movie back in '02, and I thought it was absolutely amazing.  Cleverly crafted if you ask me.

I loved the middle half. I missed the first quarter or so (it was on tv), and I had to leave before the last one. I really want to go back and watch the rest some day. :)

I loved the movie. Sadly, I still haven't seen the end, but the parts I did see were... I don't know. It was really weird, but I guess I've always had a taste for things that never make sense.  ::)
