The Fountain

Abso-fucking-lutely amazing. Aronofsky quality and nothing less. Definitely one of my favorite movies, although I must say: all three of Aronofsky's movies rank high on my list of favorite movies.

Aronofsky admits this movie to being open to interpretation. My friend and I both think that the synopsis on the back of the DVD is very very bad... it forces an interpretation, and not the interpretation that the film left us with anyways.

Ah!  I want to see this movie go bad.  This just makes me want to see it even more! ><
The once grove of splendor,
Aforetime crowned by lilac and lily,
Lay now forevermore slender;
And all winds that liven
Silhouette a lone existence;
A leafless oak grasping at eternity.

As I recall, without reading my own thread ;), it was pretty crazy!
...WAY open to ANY interpretation

Wow, I saw this last night and I am still am not sure exactly how I want to interpret it..  It was a really good movie and very well done, but pretty confusing if you don't pay attention. Good++
