Super Music Organizer

What's the best (preferably free or with available means of unlocking) music organizer? I never really had to worry about it because I always just wanted full albums and everything was easily organized into Artist\Album\Song instantly because I would only rip or download full albums (with the occasional single from iTunes, but that's easy to place.) I then started only keeping music on my iPod and deleting the file once it was transfered, and I would just listen to music off my iPod on my computer which made things simple. Now that I'm getting in to DJing I'm downloading a lot of singles (I have a subscription service where I can download however much I want for a month, and most of the songs come with the original file, the remix if available, possibly a clean and explicit version, an instrumental, and acapella. This creates a problem since I wouldn't just listen to say the instrumental on my iPod so I don't want to store everything there, so I figure I should have it on my external hdd. I just don't want to manually organize them since some even have different naming conventions. suggestions?

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

Are you on Windows? Somewhere in iTunes' settings there's a "Keep Library Organized" feature, and you can give it a formula for what the files should be named. Example: \$artist\($year) $album\$track - $name
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

I need something that scans the data and writes the track information for me probably, preferably remixes as well.

I think I'm going to need to do this manually. *sigh*

Pretty much what I've done is add songs that are singles into a singles folder and albums in Artist/Album format and then I just add all of the songs into one song in my program and sort them by tempo, but that will stop working once I transfer music from my iPod onto my external and download more. I'm getting a lot of new songs each day too, many of them independent remixes posted by other subscribers of the music pool I signed up for. That just complicates things further.

Tag and Rename wasn't automatic, but I used it so that they organized my files into the list nicely and I just did it manually. My songs on my iPod are all named/tagged properly so transferring those won't be that bad.
