Edmunton is about a 4-5 hour drive from Cold lake. Calgary looks pretty far, I doubt I'd be there often.

But I think the cadet biathlon nationals are somewhere around there. I'd have to confirm it though.
Yeah, it's a long haul, probably about 7 hours. But eh, you're closer than anybody else on the forum :)

Edmonton is a fun city if you like winter sports or want an opportunity to get extremely good at them.

Biathlon is a winter sport that I'm becoming dedicated to. It basicly combines sking with air/.22 rifle target shooting.

Of course, I need to get skate ski's. Currently I have a pair of classics, and they don't work with the free sking technique....

Well, the packing has begun. The only thing left on my desk is my computer, and it will be gone tomorrow. They are probably gonna pack my computer chair soon, and anything else staying still. I'd better get up and move, or else I'll end up in a box!

I'm going in a hotel tomorrow till friday, then I'm heading out. Should be there with my computer and internet back up around the 27'th.

Wish me luck!

Would you get there (have gotten there?) sooner if you ended up in a box? Because if so, I vote for the box. :)

We get there around the same time as the box. Although, I'd personally not want to be in a box. Their all smelly.

Good luck finding your way through Winnipeg on the number 1 highway.... it can be a bit of a hassle for someone who hasn't done it before...  ;)

Ottawa left, Newfoundland right. It's how the people in Montreal figure out which way to go on Canada's Only Road.

Well, so far I'm in Sault st maries, ontario. Tomorrow sometime we will be halfway there.

Went to paramount canadas wonderland, that was fun. Also I found the best town name ever in Quebec, St. Louis du ha ha, or as the sign said "St. Louie De ha ha".

Anyway, about one more week to go 'till I arrive in cold lake, alberta. And, yes, I will arrive before the box. :P
