so umm i tried to play this the other day with keyboard and junk and well lets just say it was like 9-11 for the passengers. any way to make the controls easy?

Hahahahhahah. That was good.

My advice (as I play on keyboard and mouse): get used to flying small stuff like the Ultralight, then move up to the bigger. The default is easy, it just is different than one would expect.

Buy a joystick. It makes it 99% more easier.

I bought 2-3 joysticks over the course of my life. All of them are Game Port joysticks. You know, the adapter that was phased out in like, the course of a few years. Apparently in favor of USB.

I have one. It doesn't seem to want to work. Apparently drivers don't work on anything past/including XP. That, and the game controllers option in Windows XP doesn't work very well, either. So.

And it's completely phased out in Vista.

I've seen USB joysticks at circuit city for 20$, I even got a good gamepad from them for 25$. Just say no to the warranty and stuff, of course I've said that and they "accidentally" dropped the box. It works fine though.

Why don't you just get a USB joystick? I got mine for $30 at Circuit City. It's a Logitech attack 3 and it works very well with FS2004.

im dead broke cause i haven't been working in a long time since my surgery. i only have about 300 in my spending money and that is going to school junk and lacrosse (if i play again)

Last time I played it, it brought my computer to a halt. I've got a new processor (an X2) now, so it'll probably run fine if I can get my hands on a copy of Windows.
