Well, the reason its selling out is because at least (locally) in my electronics division we're getting maybe 3-4 units every other week or so, they're selling out because most stores around here are getting limited numbers of units in between long time spans.

That's an easy no-brainer

250$ compared to 500-600. Sony loses money on every sale of their PS3 as it is, making sales back up in quantity is the only thing they have going for them.

It took me forever to find a Wii!!  I had to call WalMart daily to see if they got a shipment in.  I managed to call when there was one left, and left work to go get it.  I hit every freaking red light on the way, but still managed to get it!  Yay!  I <3 my Wii.

The stores up here get atleast 5+ Wiis per shipment.  People just really want them!  I know I did!
