I want a desk

since i'm probably buying trust's computer and all...

Would it be cheaper than buying one to build it?

I'm thinkin maybe somethin with a plexi glass top, 4 1x1 legs that are stained and 2-3 long boards under the plexi glass for support and as a frame work to build shelf(short, tho, like 8") on top of and have hangin keyboard the thing rolls out


Should I just buy one?

Building it yourself is way cooler. I helped my dad build the desk I use when I was like 10! It's badass.. it's like 11' long and can support my dad jumping on it.

true, if the desk were to be really long, which it wont cause it want something easy to move.

also, it'll be trust's 15" lcd, so...

This is the closest thing to a good picture I can take with my shitty shitty phone camera. I don't think it will be of any use at all, unless you want to admire my small stack of monster / mountain dew cans (like two weeks ago I made a castle out of the like 150 cans I had lying around, but my mom put them out for recycling! )

I'm thinkin an L shaped desk.  Not sure if I want the corner to be flat so I can face it, have the short end of the L just rounded, or if I just want a straight L shape.
Straight L would be easier to make and move when the time comes, but looks way less cool.

Also, the tower will be in a cabinet, what sort of ventilation will I want for that or just I just have an open area w/no back & door?
