The ONLY Paris Hilton story I've enjoyed reading...
« on: July 30, 2007, 12:16:07 pm »
...justice has finally been dealt.

Shit, that's fucking wonderful.

Although I think she still makes her own money and won't be broke exactly, $60M is still a lot.

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

That's a nice move, her antics are really opposite of how you'd expect someone of such old wealth to act.  But I still think she's incredibly attractive and would bang her until my penis fell off. Hell, I'd even marry her.

$60m is a lot for her to lose, but she's not headed for the poor house anytime soon.

Me too. But I'm what some people call "desperate."

I'm not sure about the marriage part, though...

Probably doesn't matter to her that much.  She's rich, and can make $60 million easily.

No it probably does matter. Just because she's already wealthy doesn't mean she couldn't use $60m, and I'm pretty sure $60m is over her personal net worth. Think of it in regular people terms: You can make $60 easily, but if someone said they'd give you it and then didn't...would you care? I would. Not amplify that times one million.

I said probably doesn't matter that much.  It won't affect her.  She could pay someone $30,000 to write a book in her name about losing her inheritance (from her grandfather nonetheless, not her father) and her struggle with her family, and probably make a couple million dollars (at least).  If her losing $60 million is like most people losing $60, then what happened is like a bad day at work - not a big deal!  She gets paid $75,000 (or was it $750,000?) just to show up at a party, and she likes going to parties; she gets paid huge amounts of money to do the things that she enjoys and would probably pay to do herself otherwise.  This won't have a noticeable financial impact on her life.

rofl. Average Joes don't have 600k to lose--Paris has more than 60m.

I wonder what her networth is...I spose that's the only way we can guesstimate it.

Also, it's not quite the same.  If most people who had $600k to lose lost it, it would seriously affect their lives.  Paris already has so much money, and so much earning power, that not getting a $60 million inheritance just won't make much of a difference in her life.
