Tea gets me caffeine, and caffeine gets me through the day. (I've been getting like 4-6 hours of sleep this vaca.) And I don't want to resort to coffee so yeah...

And yeah, I like unsweetened iced tea more. I think the tea I've been getting at stores lately has a little sugar in it, but not too much. My grocery store only has sweetened iced tea cartons so I once bought a carton of it and found that it was disgusting. The tea I've been drinking doesn't taste nearly as sweet so it must not have a lot of sugar.

Anyways, question for iago: Do you drink orange juice? :P (Better not... ;))

As Rule already pointed out, who the hell drinks sweetened hot tea?

I had some unsweetened iced tea today.  It was actually really good, but I think that's because it was made by sitting in the sun instead of being boiled.  I seem to remember it tasting better that way.

Yes, and I eat a lot of fruit, more than I eat real food, I think.

That may sound hypocritical, but I said it wrong earlier. I should say, "I don't drink anything with artificial sugar". The sugar you get in pop and stuff is bad for you, it's processed by your body way too fast and is basically just converted into fat and crap.

I do drink orange juice, provided that there is no sugar added. The natural sugar in fruit is processed differently, it's used more slowly and converted into energy, not fat.

That's acceptable.

It's pretty mind-blowing that a serving of orange juice has ~25g of natural sugar in it though.

Okay, let me make one thing clear: by calling yourself a Yank you officially brand yourself a Southerner.

I eat a fair bit of high calorie food, but I normally burn it off jogging/swimming/skiing.

But, I also eat ALOT of ring-of-fire foods. You now, the 3rd degree chicken wings, crushed cayenne peppers on pasta, pickeled bannana peppers on sausages/tacos/ham burgers, etc. I really wanna try growing a Habanero pepper plant, so I can have have fresh insane peppers, but I cant seem to find one.

In Canada, everybody south of the border are yanks :)

The thing is, that doesn't work for processed sugar. Your body processes it and turns it into fat too quickly to burn it. Sure you can burn off the fat later, but it's much more difficult and I suspect less healthier.

True, foods with a lot of processed sugar are high colorie, but the inverse isn't necessarily true. I thought you were replying to what I said, which is why I made that assumption. :P

Well, American's are Yanks, and Canadians are weirdos. That covers 99% of us.

Again, weirdos. :)
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.
