Due to the relatively high number of murder suicides and other incidents reported recently, the ZombieMeter team has decided to raise the ZombieCon to 3. Although the incidents being reported seem to be relatively unrelated and separated geographically, it is worth noting that the pattern could be an indicator of a wide-scale outbreak.
In historical accounts, zombie outbreaks are likely to happen everywhere all at once due to some viral, bacterial or chemical contamination. As such, ZombieMeter analysts advise people to be on heightened alert over the next few days, as more zombie activity may be imminent! ZombieMeter will report on events as they continue to occur.

What about the rumor that Dick Cheney authorized mini nukes to be used on Iran (in the wake of another "terror attack")? I bet the zombie meter will go bonkers! Just thank god that atleast in Iran there is no gay zombies!

It's what it has to do with zombies in general actually, the use of nuclear bombs on Iran in the wake of another terrorist attack might be a starting point for what this might have to do with zombies LOL, your scale thing there would go up a notch or so I'd say.

Looks like somebody is investing in emergency zombie defense preparedness (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=202668.msg2158872;topicseen). Perhaps the word about the zombie threat is getting out?

Haha, that's awesome! I'll have to post that on ZM when I have a chance.
The problem is that shotguns aren't the best weapon for zombies. To kill a zombie, you have to destroy its brain. However, shotguns can only do that from relatively close range, and you really don't want to let zombies get that close.
Still cool, though!

I love that my bosses walk into the office with an emergency preparedness binder in case of, and I quote "zombie attacks".

Is it made from carbon fibers and have large spikes protruding in strategic directions? If not, I can't see how a binder fits into a zombie emergency preparedness kit at all.
