Umm, I don't even see how this is news. Its basically common knowledge that the government itself is not bound to the laws of the land.

Did anyone read the comments? If those guys know what they're talking about, the government owned the program anyhow (as they "owned" the person in the air force, they don't have time off, just time they're not told to be doing something specific). Someone said that this was just a shortcut, cause they'd have won anyhow.

By the way, what's Sovereign Immunity? Wasn't that something so that the king didn't have to obey the law or something? How'd that get into US Law?
