Basically, FPTP is stupid, the spoiler effect prevents people from voting for who they want, and our government is full of assholes nobody likes.

I was going to link CGPGrey if you hadn't.

Voting is totally the "lesser of two evils". It also falls into Tragedy of the Commons a bit. Politics sucks. Look at other videos posted by that same guy that rabbit linked - CGPGrey - he gives a great overview of a number of alternative voting systems.

Personally, when I do consulting work, I find it better to charge a flat fee, and to give complete service as far as I can. But to also clearly define the limits, and to indicate that, if we go beyond the limits, we have to renegotiate.

Hey all,

I just updated the forum to the latest version of SMF, and also moved it to a new server. The ip address is currently the same, but it's being proxied through this address to 206.220.196.59. This will be a little slower, but it's only a temporary measure.

Let me know if you have any issues!
