Of course, so is being lazy.

Since I've been in University, I've done lots more homework, often stuff that I wasn't assigned, just for the purposes of learning the material.  And I find if I can work on something undistracted for a couple hours (I usually go to a restaurant), I learn stuff well.

Phys. Ed., as in P.E.?... like running?!  Why are you writing essays in there?

@iago:
I like how you said 'been in University' instead of 'been in college'.
Also, I dread that upcomming homework :(, a friend of mine had about 4 hrs of homework per 1 or 2 hr class :(.  It only lasted a few weeks but still

I do all my homework in class pretty much.  I agree with iago however, somethings you become interested in and do some research on your own.  Like in English if we read a book i liked I'll read another by that author.  Stuff like that.

I say that because I go to the University of Manitoba.  There are colleges on campus, but they are religious things.
