Title: Fire + Music = WOOT.

Excuse my poorly drawn ascii picture, but I don't have a nice image program installed.

                ^GAS GOES IN HERE^

The ='s form a stainless steel tube, and the boxy-things on the end are speakers. As you can see, the gas (bunsun burner gas) goes in the bottom, and comes out the holes in the bottom, making a ton of flame-ish things.

Anyhow, the teacher put latex gloves tightly over the ends of the pipe, pointed the speaker's toward it, and played some music. Starwars Theme Song looked especially nice.

Basically, it was somewhat like a visualization, like in Windows Media Player / iTunes. It REALLY rocked.

When I first read that I thought you were just lighting fire to CDs.  Neat, though!  :)

I'd love to. I'm going to make one of these some day. (It works with LP, if anyone gets bored!)
