I wake up today with a really sore throat and tell my dad I'm not going to practice. He tells me I'm just being a liar and I went to bed late and am tired, even though I was in bed by 1, giving me a full 7 hours of sleep. So anyhow, he says if I don't go, he's making me quit the team, so I go ahead and slap him in the face with that one, totally pissing him off. Problem solved.

Well, good news, both ways. My dad quit being an ass about it, but I'm still quitting anyhow (probably) due to the huge meaningless commitment involved (be at every practice, sit bored off your ass for several hours, go home, rinse, repeat).

If you're talking about coaches, all our coaches are guys. I know this because I spent a few hours in the gym welding supports on the speedbags, and I had to speak with about every damn coach in the gym to try to find a wrench, turns out everyone in that place is too dumb to know what a wrench is (or to even respond in some cases), so I left.

I drink alot of water, too. I drink 20 oz. bottles, supposably better for you than tap water, and about the same price. So far today, I've been awake for 90 minutes, and I've downed 2 bottles.

Edit: Point of clarification: I really do feel bad for not checking that garbage can first. However, I don't usually check the garbage cans on this forum. This is due mainly to the fact that when I came to these forums so long ago, I could not post there, and I falsely assumed that it was the same for the member's garbage can.
Really, I am terribly sorry. I can only hope this will not scar you for the rest of your life. May your self-esteem now take the long road to recovery. Just keep telling yourself that you're Joez0r the Ownz0r. Your self-esteem will be in my prayers.

I play football and as of now i start both ways on the ball Offensive line and Defensive line. the part that sucks about football is the work put into it.

Agreed with rabbit. Semi-agreed with Kaleeko. As long as she doesn't put out on the first (few) date(s) and she doesn't plan to put out until after marriage I'm fine with it. I meant more in that, if I start dating a guy and he automatically expects me to sleep with him, he's on the street corner. If sex happens it happens, but if it gets to the point where it's expected, then they can go find themselves a whore. (This is coming from my point of view, I expect it's a little different from the guy's point of view. ;))

I could quite possibly see this being true if you're in a serious relationship, and you basically end up shutting yourself out from the world for your computer. However, for most of us, it's high school. In my experience, if you are looking for a serious relationship (looking for a spouse) in high school, you were either: A) unstable and clingy or B) mormon.
