I was actually on AIM for awhile on Saturday night, and got some advice from Newby:
(01:01:59) iago: And I realized I fucked up something really simple on my last homework

(01:02:12) iago: I got a constant wrong, which will cause the program to not run
(01:02:26) iago: But I don't think the prof is going to test run the program, so he probably won't notice

Well, I got it back today. On it, it said "Unless I missed something (it's late), TIMER_START is too big". He was going to take off a couple marks for it. Then it was crossed out, and I got the marks back.
To summarize, he (Newby) saved my ass :)

I don't know why you wouldn't tell him, thats what happens in my school other then on tests.

Because I wouldn't want him to notice that I'd screwed up, which I didn't think he would. However, he did.

My teachers are the exact opposite. In fact, just last week I told my calc teacher I didn't understand jack on the test (I missed some class and only got like... the last bit of the lessons), and he was like "OK, I'll just not average it in then". God I love my school.
