Title: My DSL Modem is being homogay, help :)
Post by: JTN Designer on November 11, 2005, 12:52:45 am
An Windows XP Pro SP2 issue...I'm running AIM/RealVNC and the both think that my IP is my DSL Modem's address. However it never did this when I ran my DSL connection as PPPoE; and no I do not want to go back to PPPoE. Any thoughts on how to change this?

Your DSL modem has an address?  Mine doesn't.

If your DSL is NAT'ing, then yeah, that'll happen.  Can you log into it?  Like, bring up a web interface? You might be able to forward posts or set up a DMZ zone, if you can.
