Haha, I won the Spanish National Lottery, but you don't see me boasting about it..  all I had to give them was my contact info and SSN... and credit card number.. and bank number... and pin..  :D

Easiest $400 ever.  :)

Did you happen to find $400 "misplaced" from bank account before you got your newly claimed lottery?  ::)

I actually got it this morning, but it's still at work. :P

If you prefer, I can call it a hand-and-a-half sword? Apparently, the reason it's called a "bastard" sword is because it doesn't fit into the one- or two-handed sword category cleantly, it's somewhere in between.

Not yet!

I need to go on a quest. Maybe slay some goblins? Gain a couple levels?

so uh..how did you win this?

Ah, right!

I was walking around and saw a "hobby shop" downtown. I enjoy hobby shops, so I went in and checked the place out. They had some cool stuff, but all I really needed was paint, so I bought a little vial of black paint ($4.99 Canadian, slightly more US). The lady working there said, since I bought something, I could put my name in for a draw. I said no thanks, the box was already stuffed full and I never win anything anyways.

So I was standing there, and she had problems with the computer and I had nothing to do, so I filled out an entry. Since they were out of entry cards (due to the popularity of the item, I guess), so I ripped off a piece of paper and filled out the info (name, phone number, how you found the store ("Was walking around and saw the sign")).

Then I got a call on Tuesday telling me I won. I barely believed it, but it was true!

It's quite possibly the most random thing I won/own.

they probably picked yours because it was different. what luck!

congrats. I have a sword that my grandfather gave me when I was young, it used to hang on the wall in his office. I think it's my attic now though, otherwise I'd take a picture.

It isn't socketed, unfortunately.

It may be enchanted, though, I'm not sure how to well.

You can add sockets by doing the hammer quest in Act 1.

True!

But I haven't been able to find the Smith. Hmm, my best friend is named "Smith". And I'm sure his dad has a hammer in the garage. Hmm....

Maybe you should try taking it to Deckard Cain to identify it.

I would, but he's trapped in destroyed Tristram, and I haven't found the standing stones/Rakinishu yet. :(

Just use a maphack.  Or, even easier, just use an Identify Scroll.
