Title: Step-by-Step: Installing wine from CVS
Post by: Joe on September 26, 2005, 08:27:10 pm
You would asume the installation would be broken if it was downloaded from CVS. I guess this downloads the latest stable version without the changes from afterwards.

Anyhow, this is specifically for Ubuntu Linux, but I'm sure all you leet hax0rs can figure it out. It's a great tutorial, so I just had to post it here.

EDIT -
I've downloaded it from the CVS, and I'm now building it (step 3). I haven't seen a single error message show yet, and it certantly hasn't had any fatal errors (which is less than I can say for some other attempts at installing WINE).
