The second beta lets people actually browse the web now. Its pretty cool, providing you browse a website that will render in it.

It's easier to just put an Opera dump onto an M3 or some such.

Yah, but I don't think thats completely legal unless you own a copy.

Some users (like me) prefer to use free homebrew stuff instead of just dumping commercial roms to a M3 or similar. I just don't feel right doing it.

Am I missing something? Isn't Opera free?

The browser is free.  All you're paying for is the physical cart.  I've got no moral reservations about putting Opera on an M3.
