Title: Janis Ian: The Internet Debacle
Post by: iago on August 29, 2007, 12:07:03 PM
http://www.janisian.com/article-internet_debacle.html

This article was posted in 2002, which was before the advent of iTunes and other online music stores. As a result, part of it is accurate or redundant, but the main point still stands, in my opinion.

This is a really good article about why the RIAA is full of crap when they say that they're "protecting artists" with their arguments and other tactics. It's very long, but I read the whole thing and I totally recommend it.
