I'm just curious... has the word 'zerg' entered common usage outside of being used by gamers or something? Today in calculus, my teacher said that we zerged through the review, commenting on how fast we finished it. I know I've heard it used as a verb for doing something quickly in allusion to the infamous zerg rush before, but I've never heard it outside of the interwebs.
My guess is she heard students saying it enough to pick up the context and meaning. Something like teachers saying "rad" and stuff.
I dunno about that one, I have never heard the word uttered in real life before.
I've heard people use it in reference to other games but never in real life, atleast not yet. I'm sure its just a matter of time.

Fixed.
I have recently started a new trend of sorts at my school calling my friends "noobs" for them doing something retarded, I just recently heard 2 freshmen calling eachother noobs along with my Gov teacher calling this girl in class a noob for not knowing the Law of supply and demand.
The word home slice was spread around some schools I went to in the past, never heard Zerg yet, but if I did i'd freak out since I love star craft to death.

My girlfriend and her friends do that too. Kind of creepy!

This one is a lot more common, along with owned, and even around here epic fail has gotten popular.
Epic and Legendary (WoW item "rareness" ratings) are somewhat common with my girlfriend and her friends. Owned, pwned (poned), and noob are very common.
Also, Jalapae is synonymous with Jeep. Weird!
No it's not. A jalapi is just a shitty car.
Only thing common here is fail(and I don't mean the WoW-inspired fail insult, I mean it is very common for people here to fail their classes)

lol.
I very often here people shout 'FAIL' whenever someone does something stupid, and well, fails.
EPIC FAIL.
Today when I was eating lunch at Wendy's some black girl dropped her fries on the floor and her friend said "I do believe you just got owned.". I snickered at that. :)
I think a friend of mine is going to get my english teacher to say EPIC LULZ
You're a friend of yours? How nice.
