After a few months, my priest finally sold. I kept getting offers, through email, and nobody ended up following through.
Finally, a guy offered me $350, and I took it. Now I'm kind of rich! :P
Out of WoW context, I would roll on the floor and laugh. Think about it. "I finally sold my priest."
Its a priest. Who gives a shit ???
Priests are arguably one of the best classes on WoW. And, apparantly the guy who paid $350 for a priest with no gold gives a shit, haw haw

I would ROFL too.
How is that funny out of wow context? It doesn't really make sense out of that context. I'm not sure if anyone actually owns an actual priest - except maybe God. I don't know of God would sell a priest either, and if he did - what for?

Go buy a copy of Warcraft 2, and type it in when you're playing single player. Tons of gold.
Oh, I knew about that. Didn't know what you meant, though. I still have my warcraft 2 CD. :P
Not as sad as me. My Warcraft 2 cd is in my computer!
Hmm, I wounder what I'd get, probably able to break $1k now =/

Nah. People aren't as willing to blow $1000 on wow as most people think. If somebody is going to spend 700+, theyll want 2 level 70s on the same server, that's for sure. They'll also want gear equiv. of SSC/TK or better, most likely. I'd say the $1000+ sales are for the characters that have BT gear, with maybe two level 70s.
My friend posted his level 70 mage, with SSC/TK gear, including tier 5 peices. He also has a 63 warlock. He asked $450, and hasn't had any replies. :|
Unless you catch some retard that just has money, and is too lazy to game - like I did. lol. I checked out his armory, and he respec'd to shadow, and is wearing horrible world drop green items, mixed with my tier 4 healing pieces. It made me sad to look at lol. Oh yeah, he also unlearned my 375 tailoring... wtf?
what kind of dumbass did you see your character to....

One that had no clue what he was buying. He just wanted anything that was level 70.

I think you're thinking of the TTL from Maelstrom amigo.
What about the $10k Rogue with Illidan's swords?
I think the money you get back is outweighed by the time and the money you spent (monthly fee).
I have well over 400 days spent, $10k would be severely less then minimum wage ;p

Assuming you mean 400 * 24 hours, you'd be making 96 cents an hour. Welcome to slave labour!
Wait, you need to subtract the $15 a month WoW-Tax.
Plus Income Tax and Union dues (if WoW is unionized).

Easily (http://www.x86labs.org/forum/index.php?action=unread)! I'm no longer restricted by forum.
Unfortunately, that means that I end up reading Politics and GameSnake's and stuff, too, but it's almost worthwhile because of the time I save. Almost..
