Title: Acronyms
Post by: Camel on October 05, 2007, 10:54:23 AM
Over the past few days, I've been exploring JSP/JPA, and consequentially have been buried in acronyms that I can hardly keep straight. Yesterday, my co-worker John and I were complaining about the needless complexity. So I got to work this morning, and I received an email from John:

I'll be wfh until noon and then away from the computer after that.

No more acronyms!

Quote from: John
Did you send that using JSR 919

The only way I can express my feelings about that statement is through a hibernate query.

SELECT ? FROM ? WHERE ? = ???

Quote from: John
Isn't it obvious, that's the acronym for JavaMail.

Quote from: Scott
Don't force me to deploy WAR to your Tomcat.

This thread has taken a sinister abreviated path all of a sudden.

It's funnier if you're familiar with the acronyms.
