OWNED!
That'll (hopefully) show them. If not, I bet the flood of other law suits will have an impact.
I hope that church crumbles to the ground.
Those guys drive me nuts. If they want to impose their ideas on other people, maybe they should learn about some of the elements of human persuasion because they're totally blowing Aristotle's Mythos component.
Despite the fact that I'm a Christian, I find what they did totally ridiculous. Picket a funeral? That's terrible.
These picket phrases they were using such as "God is your enemy," and such, seems to contradict Jesus' teachings.

What?
Fair and Balanced.

What's wrong with that sentence? If someone is confused about something, generally, people say why they're confused instead of a mere, "What?"

Couldn't have said it better.

i bolded the cofusing part
why IN SPITE of being christian do you disagee with them?
This is partially why I hate religion in general: it causes wars, near-insane beliefs such as the one demonstrated in this article, and countless other problems. It was invented by man for man to explain the unexplainable and nothing more. I won't get into that, though, to avoid offending anyone farther then I just already did.
That being said, normally I'm very respectful of people that are older then I am, but in this case I probably would've drop kicked an 80 year old woman and taken a piss on her then-broken hip (actual picture from the "event"):

I was raised to respect people and avoid confrontations, but I would've broken several of her bones without feeling pity. Such complete disregard for the emotions of the family involved is entirely unexplainable and disrespectful, no matter who is the one displaying it.

Are you high or something? It's not hard....
They claim to be Christians, and they advocate (some) Christian morals. "Advocate" may not be a strong enough word.
In spite of the fact that they claim Christian roots, he disagrees with them.
@c0Ld: it depends on whether you advocate atheism or simply nonreligion. But generally, I say religion is not the cause of these things you speak of; rather, it's the fact that people are sheep that does.
He makes it sound like all Christians believe it.

While we're on the subject, I'd like to say in the case that religion is completely made up, it'd be more likely made to further civilize mankind, thus the 10 commandments. It does cause problems when taken to the extreme, but shouldn't everything be taken in moderation?

Because that's not a ridiculous claim?

Wow. Maybe I need to brush up on my Bible reading. I forgot about that part where it said to hate gay people. Or anyone.

The thing is, none of his disciples had enough experience to learn what Jesus had to teach them. Now, he died without being able to teach these skills to anyone. It's not a huge problem because he came back to life, but his disciples still had not attained a satisfactory experience level. It wasn't until recently that people have started gaining enough experience to learn these hateful skills from Jesus, which is why so many people hate gays.
Obviously, Jesus hasn't taught you this because you don't have enough experience points. Go kill more boars or something.
Or, and this is more likely, you're an ignorant, prejudice ass hole.
You're such a buzzkill, rabbit! <--------- you can tell I mean business by the use of the exclamation point at the end of this sentence.

Someone should write a mod to actually assign topic winners.
