Either way, some kids got something for free when they lost most of everything. That's good in my book.

The difference is, iPods cost Apple significantly less than $200. :)
If they gave money, the parents would take it. The iPod is a good thing to give out, and within Apple's means since they make them.
It'll be interesting getting songs on them, since I bet that a lot of them don't have computers/CDs. :)
