x86 needs a true clan channel. I'm willing to maintain it, and if I'm given a few CD-Keys, load enough bots to handle expiration.

Will starcraft 2 use the same b.net that the other cilents do? Like with the whole /join Op x86 type channels set up games and go join them type deal? Havent heard anything from blizzard on the sort yet.

I hope not. Battle.net needs to be completely revamped IMO.

Blizzard has already stated that they're using Battle.Net for StarCraft II.  They have a lot of plans for revamping Battle.Net before they launch it, though, so stay tuned.

Actually I'm thinking of integrating Starcraft Leagues with Facebook Platform and I'm hoping that I can get Blizzard to buy into it (by doing something like giving away Starcraft 2 beta keys or something).  We all know damn well that Starcraft 2 will be coming out soon and it'll have the league functionality built in.

I'm sorry.  By "soon" I mean "in the next decade."

This Blizzard accepted phrase is "When it's ready." Which usually means in the next decade.

Well, would you prefer it to be on time and rushed/sucky, or late and good quality?

Or, most likely, late and sucky? :)
