I'm using my buddy's cord and have my phone running on this BitPim thing, nifty looking. I'm gonna see what this can do.
Have any of you used it?
Also, anyone use "WAP"? I'm just looking into this "phone hacking" stuff. It sounds interesting. This just internet browsing but using airtime?
WAP is a encryption protocol commonly used with Wifi internet connections.
I've used BitPim to put MIDI's on my phone that "doesn't support ringtones". It has a relatively narrow range of supported products, which mine was outside of, so I ended up using the view raw filesystem thing.

I think you're confusing WAP with WEP and WPA. WEP is "Wired Equivalence Privacy" and WPA is "Wi-Fi Protected Access". WAP is "Wireless Application Protocol."
Works great for phones it supports.
