OMG this movie is fucking fantastic!!!!!! there is so much action and wow.
its a must see. there is a part where rambo takes a hold of a guys adam apple and rips it out. fuck its amazing
It's sort of a letdown and pretty short, but it's sweet and full of action. :)
Is there a new Rambo?
The old one was awesome! I thought it was going to be nothing but action/violence/killing, but when I saw it, I was pleasantly surprised. It actually had a really good story!
This one has a pretty generic/weak story. People go missing, Rambo is on the team trying to get them back. And yes, there's a new Rambo.
As ususal the imdb (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0462499/) is an excellent resource to tell whether or not you would like a move, especially the "plot keywords" section. Under plot keywords for this film we have: Dismemberment, Mass Child Killing, Hole Through Torso, Cut into Pieces, Disembowelment, Arm Ripped Off, Sexual Assault, Rapist, Topless, Exploding head, Genocide, Child Shot in the Head..........the list goes on and on. I have not yet seen it but after reading that list I want to.
Really? Key words for the film The Sweetest Thing include:
Quote# Fellatio
# Lesbianism
# Oral Sex
# Sexual Fantasy
# Lesbian Sex
# Lesbian
# Cunnilingus
# Sex
That's a god damned lie. There was none of that in the movie. It was terrible.

That's too bad. The theme of the original Rambo was about how we feel about people who do frowned upon (although arguably necessary) jobs in our society.
Brent: I liked the psychological complexity of John Rambo.
Emma: I liked the part where he knifed the guy.
Brent: Oh yeah, that was cool too!

Haha, Brett for the win!
