Why's it so important that the man is Arabic?
Because I'm a racist bastard who find Arabs screaming for their potential death funny?...
...anyway on a serious, truthful note... Because that's the point and humor in this.. a guy sets him up, and he doesn't understand how to operate the machine, and it's always funny to hear an Arabian scream..
I think it's funny because a person on the treadmill had problems. But the racial thing totally ruins it for me (not because he's Arabic, but because people think that's the funny part).

Why's it so important that the man is Arabic?
It explains the dressy/sheet thing?

Why's it so important that the man is Arabic?
Because he is. Don't go so out of your way to be anti-racist that it means you can't identify things.

I don't think I am, I definitely think there's subtext there.
So... now we can't specify that the guy on the treadmill is Arabic... Why? I don't know. How does "guy on treadmill" make it any better? It doesn't... Now it's a guy on a treadmill.. and that's just sexist. "Human being on treadmill."
I'm sorry iago, I normally agree with you on most things, but I like the convenience of being able to identify someone simply. Especially when there's no benefeit to identifying them vaguely.
Have you read the comments on the link? Every one of them on the first page is racial. There's a reason this video has over a million views, and that's it right there.
Maybe the poster of the video didn't intend it that way, and maybe the poster here didn't either (although mixing up Afghani and Arab is odd), but racial factors are definitely what contribute to any popularity it has (based on the comments).

That doesn't necessitate that we are racist, too.
I just figured I'd post "Afgani guy on treadmill" because it gives the video more description, I've been viewing a lot of CrAz3d threads.. and a lot of people bash on him because of the title is inappropriate towards the actual content, so I figured I'd avoid that. My title is appropriate and isn't/shouldn't be taken racial... It's just a guy that is Arabian or Afgani (I don't remember) and he can't operate the treadmill.. and it's funny how he reacts.
Who cares... it's some Arab on a treadmill... why not call it what it is?

Exactly.
Moar on topic: this reminds me of my cat on a treadmill.

Hmm? I love cat's. They're so fucking win. Additionally, it's almost caturday.
