I remembered! I yelled "lawl" at 1:59.26 PM.
Edit: also 3-14-15 @ 9:26:53 is going to be epic. Too bad the world's ending on 12-21-12 =(. Hopefully we'll have time machines to jump forward to 2015 by then...
Also, 3-14-1592 @ 6:53:58 must have been nuts. I'm sure something crazy happened. I should probably go to sleep.... Hmm.

I was in a math class, but we were too busy learning math to pay attention to the time. :)
When is mole day? June 22nd? I dont recall.
Heh, I was going to post about pi day, but I didn't consider it worthy. I guess I was wrong, I forgot how many mathy guys hang around here. :)
All I have to say is, "As Mr. Sloan always says, there is no "I" in team, but there is an "I" in pie. And there's an "I" in meat pie. Anagram of meat is team... I don't know what he was talking about. "
What kind of sport does an eip team play? :-\

1 mol = 6.022E23 particles.. so June 2nd.
The letter 'E' is not a mathematical symbol! It was invented by Texas Instruments for convenience, but when they saw how everyone was using it as if it were a symbol, they got rid of it in their TI-89.

No they didn't. (http://faculty.kutztown.edu/Mitsuma/ti/TI89/images/TI-89_Titanium.jpg) It's still there. It's more of a shorthand now than anything. Especially when doing chemistry? Scientific notation can suck it. E is MUCH easier to write than " x 10^" and everybody knows they mean the same thing.
My bad, I never noticed it on the TI-89. I know what it means, and it's not a mathematical shorthand, though it may be one in chemistry. I personally find it ugly for a symbol to represent both an operator and an operand... it's either one or the other.

You're both wrong! It's October 23 from 6:02 AM to 6:02 PM. Of course, some people celebrate it on different days, but 10/23 is the right day. The ACS even agrees with me.

10^23 * 6.022 ?

It's so they can celebrate it while school is in session. :P

Is Mole day anything like Groundhog day?

Is Mole day anything like Groundhog day?
Absolutely! On Mole day, a mole of moles come out of the ground and march southward. Depending on how far they get, we can accurately predict when the first snow day will be.
