Someone help me. i made a thread on this a while ago but it kinda died since i didnt seek help. i am now. ok so heres the problem.
My Windows 2000 NT Pro comp is fucked. it needs a password AND you cant click the cancel button. R.a.B.B.i.T told me in that thread to boot into DOS which i did but i dont know how to set a new password or remove it.
JTN told me that i needed to change the .pwd file which is located i dunno where. so help :).
I think you'll need to download a "third party helper" program. Check www.cracks.am (sorry if linking that place is disallowed here). As for booting into DOS, just sit down at a computer and create an MS DOS startup disk (go into my computer, select the A: and go to file->format). There should be options there to format it and then make it a MS DOS disk.
However, I don't know what you'd do after you booted into DOS, never really encountered this problem. :P
A BIOS password or what? A little further information would be helpful.
you skull fucking n00b. i already said i cant log in. READ NEXT TIME.
@krazed: if you use windows xp, the login screen has names. they have a password. you cant click cancel and just go in a user. same thing with Windows 2000 NT Pro.

I'm assuming you realize that your computer isn't the only one that exists on the face of the planet?
Try to be a little less insulting of those that attempt to help you. Think a bit before you post.
does Windows XP even have DOS? on another note, my comp came without Drive A ;).
edit:nvm you are an idiot. i already said in my first post that i booted into DOS so i dont need your instructions on that. i need the fucking syntax to change the user password.
Ok, let's be respectful towards people who are trying to help you.
Consider this a warning.
