Not really. The doves double your score and they appear in regular intervals, so score increases exponentially if you make sure to hit them every time.

Haha, don't look at the scores. They're pretty meaningless in terms of progress. It grows exponentially and we're so used at linear comparisons that we think we're fucked. The amount the bells are giving you is linear, so it's a much better intuitive measure of how you're doing.

Yeah, I picked up the score system fairly quickly. My post only lasted for a couple hours, anyways. I ended up trying again, not to mention spending an entire class at school today playing. Still can't get the bells to be worth more than 1,500. My highest score is only about 1.5 mil.

If you're on a laptop, try holding down the Fn key (it's the key usually in a blue forecolor) and hit the (generally speaking) Page Dn button mutiple times, until the sound depletes or, hit the End key and it'll mute the sound. Or if you have external speakers you could turn the nob down, or press the power button OR unplug your speakers!
