Title: Who else is rockin Fire Fox 3rc2?
Post by: CrAz3D on June 05, 2008, 04:47:08 PM
I like it.  The buttons (back button specifically) remind me of IE 7.

I'm not so sure that I'm terribly fond of the new stuff that happens with the address bar and the "Most Visited" tab is interesting but pointless since I have the bookmarks across the bar there.

I need to spend more time with it and explore all of the new features.

Yeah, I've had it for a little while now, I personally haven't come accustom to a like or dislike.. It seems nothing has changed. Haha. :D

I love the fact that its memory usage doesn't mysteriously swell to > 400 mb.

Leave it open for a few hours.. that's the true test. :P My (non-3.0) is currently at 145mb cause I left it on for a few hours. Hahah.

They didn't patch MANY memory leaks, but the did patch a few of the major ones. I'm at 350MB right now, had it open for over a week. FF2, which I run in parallel (I use FireBug, the best JS debugger ever, which wont work in FF3), has been open for about an hour and is already at 400MB, with comparable amount of use.
