This game is nuts. I would highly recommend it, even if you've never played the other ones. Definitely deserves the 10/10 from IGN, unlike GTA4.
I want to play the new one real bad - too bad ill never buy a ps 3 since xbox live > ps 3. I played and beat metal gear solid like 3 times in a row because i was so hooked on it back in the day. Then, I played metal gear solid 2, i think it was, and beat it once. These games have always been what i would rate a perfect game. The graphics are always top of the line, and the gameplay is always perfect. Combine those two things with an espionage/action style game, and what's not to like? Man, I'd like to play all the metal gears that have come out since MGS2
