Since mine was stolen, and I want another, I figure it'd be best to just buy an older one. I leave it in my truck about 99% of the time, only removing it to put new music on it/change play lists about.
I trust y'all more than eBay (whether or not that is a wise decision, I don't know :D), so I figured I'd try y'all first. PM me if you've got one, and you're willing to sell it. I dont care about battery life.
Buy a refurbished iPod from Apple (http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore?node=home/specialdeals/ipod).
I'd say 6th gen iPod classic, since you can get 80GB for $170. I'm kind of pissed because I just bought an 80GB classic (for $250) 3 weeks ago, and Apple will only refund the difference if you buy within 2 weeks of a new line. I feel like Apple owes me $80.
Oh boo hoo. Its just bad luck. They dont owe you anything.

No; I knew that Apple was releasing something new, but the girl in the Apple store explicitly told me that it was not new iPods. If she hadn't said that, I would have waited. It would have been one thing if she said she didn't know, or that she couldn't say, or even if I hadn't asked, but that wasn't the case.
Refurb'd, interesting. I'll look at that.
There was a refurbished 30GB iPod video on woot the other day for $120, iirc.
I'm talkin to a dude from my Ford site, he has a 30gb video. What sounds fair? $50 (I'm basing off random used eBay prices)
I have a shuffle laying around somewhere that I'll probably never use again..
Dont shuffles only shuffle?
Looks like I'll be going refurb'd, the dude at my Ford site isnt responding after I suggested he make a counter offer. He figured $50 was too low, I figured it's near in line with what is on eBay and considering the price of refurb'd 80gb ones. I would've gone up, but he wont counter.
radio > iPod shuffle

No. They also play songs in order.

Yep; the radio takes requests!
Some dude is sending me his old iPod for free, yay!
Guess he got it for free too, hahaha. Battery is dead, but so was the one on mine. And free is AWESOMELY cheap.
I could sell you my 60gb, but the HD is dead. Easy fix, though, just pop a new one in.
Yeah, that's why I didn't like it much. Plus it didn't have much storage, 512mb I think? I'm happier with my 8GB nano that I've got now.
Has anyone seen the new nano, phone, or touch in person? The MacBook Air is, reportedly, flimsy - is the same true for the new iPods?
[edit] hm...someone split this post?
