Incoming gun debate?   :)

...

This is a tragedy, not something to be used in a debate about gun control.

More specifically, it's intellectually unfounded to use a single incident like this in a debate; you would have to analyze a pattern of incidents. This incident, while relevant to our sentiments, is irrelevant to a debate -- and it's in bad taste to fuel an online "debate" off a tragedy.

I can't tell if you're serious or not. (http://forum.x86labs.org/index.php/topic,13456.0.html)

Pretty much, nobody who matters will debate about it.  A bunch of people will undoubtedly scream about it but nothing will change.

I'm being serious. I'm not trolling. It's just in bad taste to start an online "debate" -- which will inevitably degenerate into something worthless, vulgar, and filthy -- under a headline as tragic as this.

By the way, why the link? I don't want to bother reading the thread.

QuoteAn ex-convict who said he thought he was being robbed
QuotePatrick emptied his AK-47, shooting at least 29 times through his front door, walls and windows after hearing the knock, Police Chief Patty Patterson said.

He told police he had been robbed and shot in the past year.
QuotePolice said they also charged a 19-year-old in his home, Ericka Patrice Pee, with obstruction of justice when she was caught trying to run away after the shooting with $7,500 in cash. Patterson did not give an explanation for the money.
QuotePatrick had multiple drug convictions
Considering the circumstances, the killer could be easily viewed as a drug dealer mistaking the scenario for some sort of drug entanglement—robbery, turf wars, etc. If anything, this tragedy could be used against the War on Drugs.

It explains Blaze's commentary perfectly: CrAz3D did the same thing with a different subject. A school got held up and CrAz3D commented how a no-gun policy in schools doesn't work.

Of course, that's how I viewed it as. Maybe I'm just optimistic?

Ender and Blaze actually agree -- the thing Ender missed is that Blaze was making fun of CrAz3d for always doing this.

Was that being serious? I can't tell.
