Title: Soviet Ghouls + Leper Giant
Post by: iago on November 26, 2008, 11:23:02 PM
I haven't posted my painting in awhile, so here are the last few.

Here are some soviet ghouls. Probably the worst sculpts I've ever seen, but they came together well. They're probably the longest project from beginning to end, mostly because I was lazy. Anyway, for more pictures, go here (http://www.skullsecurity.org/ospap2/index.php?action=albums&album_id=655).

And the next one is a "leper giant". My friend traded a bunch of stuff with me, and this is something I got. I think it's cooler than everything I traded him, so I got a good deal!

Anyway, he's bigger than most of what I paint. Most figs are 2.8cm, and he's about 10cm. So I had a lot more room to do nicer details. I especially like the sword and the bottle. The sword is totally done with non-metallic paints, and it actually turned out decently.

Here are the pictures:

Are you sure that the man who is chopped in half really deserved it? Seriously, though, they look good.

Well, he was an elf, so of course he deserved it!

I told iago, but now I'm posting it here:  the Leper Giant, in my opinion, is the best of iago's work.  Having seen almost all of them in real life, I can't describe how much detail is lost in the photographs.  This one totally looks kick-ass even in the photograph!  Good work.  :)

Impressive, iago.
