In between study sessions, I decided to log in to World of Warcraft to check out the Auction House briefly. During my visit, someone said:

I added on to the joke, stating:

I argued the matter for about 10 minutes trying to explain that my message consisted of 100% sarcasm, but I could NOT drill the fucking concept into their heads. Finally, I just gave up deciding that my audience didn't have an ounce of common sense in their brain. One proof that intelligence is useless without common sense.

AH as in Auction House, were everyone goes to get things/sell things. A place that always lags, it makes grown men cry. (Seriously, all the grown men play that game.. it's amazing.)

I can only imagine. My dad's co-worker had WarCraft III before I did & I bought it 1st week it came out :(

If you don't know what AH is in World of Warcraft, you would be jumped on worse than I was jumped on. I'm just saying that 'AH' is seriously common talk in WoW. They knew I was talking about the Auction House, it was their complete lack of common sense that kept them from understanding my statement.

The only real acronym I use in the game is 'AH.' WTS/WTT/WTB, etc just seem way too newbish/non-fitting for a RP server.
