About the beta? Where'd you hear this? Why the announcement on a seemingly random day? Unless there's something going on tomorrow that I don't know of, which is very possible. heh
By tomorrow, I meant next week. I'm an idiot who doesn't know what day of the month it is.
haha, still - what do you mean an announcement? where'd you hear this? what's going on next week for them to announce that they're going to make an announcement? :-P

Blaze won't answer, trust me.
Well, Blade was correct. They released a small amount of new info today. The info that I read was not good, though - no LAN support.
Does that mean no Hamachi play? LAME

No LAN? :(!!!
NO LAN?
OMG.
The plan right now is to have Lan-like play, just you need to connect to Battle.Net 2.0 to do it. This is 100% to prevent piracy, and I'm quite unsure it will even do that.
But I want Hamachi! I can play with Australians laglessly...but ONLY with Hamachi.
Interesting pictures about it. It looks really nice imo

I feel like I may be the only person on this forum that says this, but I am not looking forward to SC2, the new Battle.net, or anything like that.

x2
Looks pretty good. SC2 as a game looks awesome. Battle.net has me on the fence.
I think someone stated they were planning on adding channels to the new Bnet like we have for our legacy clients which I think is somewhat official.
Unofficially I heard the were closing support for W2BN like they did with DRTL and also quite possibly later on in life...move legacy clients to Bnet 2.0
Just a guess, but I'd be willing to bet that they'll update any client that already uses NLS.
In the blizzcon thing they specifically said they wouldn't have old battle.net like channels to start with, and that old games wouldn't be updated right away but that they did plan to do it.
