Why is there still a BNET programming forum if you're shoving them all into the WoW forum?
:/
Well, the thing I posted here is WoW programming, not Battle.net. We're discussing it in the members forum (join the clan, jerkbag).

Heh, I forgot to remove the old one when I merged it. Thanks. :)

I got denied, both times I attempted to. And I've since become a lot less active here than I'd like to admit.
I bet that makes you... Furious.
You guys are all dicks. Especially joe.
FUCK YOU NEWBY
So, you posted a WoW programming related post and then changed the forum to conform to the post? Nice.
Way to ruin the only section I really enjoyed checking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not Blazed.

Oh please, like you didn't request the change.
Backstabbing, which hasn't been used in years, is still around but a fairly active forum about WoW is merged into irrelevant forum sections about bnet/bots? I can see bnet/bots being together - they make logical sense being together. WoW is too epic for the likes of Bnet/Bot discussion, though. I request an undo-change!
I tend to agree... I was subscribed to the bnet forum, but don't generally even bother reading the wow forum.

Stop ripping on Joe just to rip on Joe. His request was to change the Battle.net Dev forum into the Blizzard Dev forum.
Heh, I didn't even know that Backstabbing existed. I'd say merge that, as well.
(We're basically saving space by removing an inactive forum and telling the people to post elsewhere. I really don't care where.)

I'm ripping on Joe because he was the proximate cause of a change that several people don't like.

You're being awfully generous, calling them "people"
;)

Can this be changed to the Blizzard Game Development Forum? I've been working on WoW projects lately and I'm not sure if they go in here, general programming, or the WoW forum. Switching it makes the question easy. :)
MyndFyre, please quote the part where I asked someone to turn the WoW gaming forum into a programming forum of any kind.

I'm the last one to defend Joe, but you guys are being fucking stupid.
Joe didn't suggest this, but besides the terrible name, it's not a bad idea.

Since "you guys" implies my membership because I'm arguing against the merge, I'll reply in kind. Here, let me hold your hand as we walk through what I said.
Quote from: MyndFyre on July 27, 2009, 03:27:36 PMI'm ripping on Joe because he was the proximate cause of a change that several people don't like.
"Proximate cause" (http://www.google.com/search?q=define%3Aproximate+cause&rls=com.microsoft:en-us&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&startIndex=&startPage=1) is a term referring to an event without which an injury would not have occurred. In this situation, the "injury" is the forum merge that some people don't like.
As
you can see (http://forum.x86labs.org/index.php/topic,14576.0.html), Joe originated the thread which ultimately resulted in this forum merge with little other discussion or input.
Do you follow? I know some of these big words like "proximate" can be confusing, but I'm trying to help you understand.
No, I'm actually saying shut the fuck up. Understand now?
I'm the last one to agree with Warrior, but you guys are being fucking stupid.
Blaming the "proximate cause" is ridiculous, and I can't believe I actually feel the need to explain why:
If you brought a bunch of friends to a shooting range, and one of them runs out to his target in the middle of an "open fire", and gets shot and killed, you are the proximate cause. Are you to blame? No, your friend is for being a fucking moron.
I think some people are taking jokes/ribbing too seriously. :P
I agee, Myndfyre needs to learn to take a joke.
You guys are all dumb, it's obviously Blaze's fault. If he was lazy like everyone else nothing would have ever been changed.

Exactly, let's all blame Blaze! And definitely don't blame iago for suggesting it in the first place. Nosiree, let's ignore that :)

Really? You don't think that that would in some way come up in the American legal system? Really??

What you suggested was prompted by what Joe suggested, so Joe's suggestion was in the first place, and yours was second.
Why are you still talking?
